NEXA.TNE university partners deliver diverse programming — from vocational certificates to executive degrees — engineered specifically for high-growth markets. Every credential aligns perfectly with local regulatory frameworks and commercial realities.

Market-Driven Design

Built for specific regional demands.

Regulatory Precision

Aligned with local legal frameworks.

Targeted Affordability

Every program we deliver carries two credentials. One from the local institution, recognised by the national regulator. One from the international source institution, verifiable in a public registry.

The People Behind The Work

Operational Excellence. Proven Expertise.

Cross-border partnerships succeed or fail on operational integration rather than academic content, which is why NEXA.TNE is led by two veteran operators with five decades of combined experience executing this exact work. By moving beyond academic theory, our leadership prioritizes seamless execution and functional market integration to ensure sustainable international ventures. This deep operational expertise allows us to mitigate risks and successfully navigate the complexities of global education delivery where it matters most.

Bernardo Riveros
Bernardo Riveros

Co-Founder & Co-CEO · Nexa TNE

Bernardo is a distinguished education executive and entrepreneur with three decades of experience driving international education and business strategy across Latin America. A Colombian-born Canadian, he has built an exceptional track record of cross-border leadership, successfully mobilizing more than 40,000 international students from Latin America to premier global destinations, including the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

As the Co-founder of the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC), Bernardo directed the institution's growth for 18 years, scaling it into a globally recognized leader in English as a Second Language (ESL) education. Following this success, he spent six and a half years shaping international strategy and Latin American expansion for Global University Systems (GUS).

Today, Bernardo leverages his deep institutional knowledge and market expertise to advise academic institutions on establishing, scaling, and optimizing their global footprints across Latin America and other emerging markets. His contributions extend beyond the corporate sector; in recognition of his extensive philanthropic work and dedication to immigrant advocacy, he was named one of the Top 25 Canadian Immigrants in 2018.
